GOLD closed the latest trading session with a 1.08% gain, ending the day at $44.99. The move outpaced the broader S&P 500, which advanced 0.8%.

Elsewhere in the market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged 0.15% lower, while the technology-focused Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.6%.

Although the stock posted gains during the session, its longer-term performance has remained weaker compared with broader markets. Over the last month, shares have declined approximately 7%, trailing both the finance sector and the S&P 500, which recorded gains of 5.61% and 5.15%, respectively.
